Carl Langsenkamp is a co-owner of Lost Borough Brewing. He was smart enough to reach out to Dan and Dave when he heard they wanted to start a brewery. He asked if he could join them and they realized he had valuable insights to add to the business (that means he loves beer).
Carl also holds a real job as the director of Global Analyst and Public Relations for Xerox Corporation. He has been at Xerox a long time, handling various public relations duties including corporate strategy, crisis communications and executive engagement, as well as marketing programs for various sponsorships including the Worldwide Olympic Games.
Before he sold out to the corporate world and joined Xerox, Carl spent his years as a radio and television news reporter and producer in way too many cities to list here. He also served as a communications manager for the New York State Senate and has worked for a high-tech public relations agency.
If you see Carl working at the brewery, it’s likely he will spend his time talking about his kids, Chicago Bears football (he grew up in the Windy City), Ohio State football or reciting lyrics from Steely Dan songs.
One final note: Carl is also co-owner of Restoration Brew Worx, a ten-barrel brew house/restaurant located in Delaware, Ohio just outside Columbus.
